Project Description:

For this project I created five original illustrations for a stamp series that celebrates the American story. This concept was for US postal service and is rooted in US history and culture.

Concept:

For this project I wanted to represent Alaska Indigenous People and decided to represent the Tlingit Tribe. Topics about Indigenous Peoples is always right for the US postal service as it reminds us how Indigenous Peoples are the caretakers of the environment, respecting wildlife and utilizing traditional knowledge passed down through generations.
